The Online Owner-Trained Service Dog Program is for owners who want to train their own dog to become a Service Dog.   Please review HERE for information about our special offer of online and up to 10 in-person sessions and Public Access testing for Service Dog training for $900.

The Online Owner-Trained Service Dog Program can finished in 1 week to 6 months, depending on the amount of training your dog has had. 
The Online Owner-Trained Service Dog Program recommends the Online Doggie Boot Camp, Doggie Boot Camp or On-Leash Mastery Course as a prerequisite. 

The tuition is $700 and payment plans are available. For those on Oahu, in-person Public Access Tests in Kailua are available at no charge a few times a month. Most clients on Oahu choose to enroll in the Doggie Boot Camp first which includes unlimited 1 year trainer support.

Balanced Obedience does not offer skills training for dogs needed for sight or hearing. 

Psychiatric Service Dog Tasks are our area of expertise. 

We began by helping those returning from the Middle East in 2008 with PTSD and other conditions.  

Tasks for mobility, seizure alert, allergens or diabetes can be taught by the owner if desired. 

Not all dogs can learn to perform the desired Service Dog task with reliability. 

There is no guarantee that your dog will learn to perform the tasks needed to assist with a disability by enrolling in Service Dog training. 

The Online Doggie Bootcamp Course helps prepare you and your dog for the Online Owner-Trained Service Dog Program.  

This course covers over 20 topics with lifetime access and the AKC CGC testing for free.

The Honolulu Service Dog training course combines the online training and the small group, for $900,  or private training sessions, for $2900, for you to train your own Service Dog with my expert guidance.  
The paid tuition of the Online Doggie Bootcamp Course is credited in full towards the On-Leash Mastery Course or In-Person Doggie Boot Camp.

After passing the Public Access Test, you will receive a certificate and letter of completion of Service Dog training. Special discounts for a Service Dog Vest and identification cards are included in enrollment.  Service Dog training is tax deductible as a medical expense and is payable out of a Health Saving Account (HSA). 

The Service Dog Training Program will prepare your dog to be your Service Dog. This program focuses on attentiveness, proofing obedience with distractions in public and task training that your disability requires. 

The Service Dog Training Program is where the dog lives with me 3 months to become a Service Dog. 

The tuition is $9500 and there is lifetime trainer support for you and your dog. 

There is no prerequisite for the Service Dog Training Program and the tuition is all-inclusive. 
The 3 month training period can be divided into 1 month increments for dogs under 6 months of age.  This allows for training through a young dog's mental development.
