It is ideal that a puppy stays with its mother prior to 8 weeks, and some experts even recommend 14 to 16 weeks. Puppies that will grow up to have a serious job, like a service dog, will begin obedience training at 8 weeks of age.

What Comes After Puppy Training?

The Doggie Boot Camp would be the very best way to get your puppy fully trained. The camp is 2 or 3 weeks of customized training, socialization, and manners for your dog. I will train you and your family upon the dog’s return and there is 1 year of trainer support for you and your dog. Your puppy will have a very solid foundation of obedience training.
The best age for puppies to attend camp is around 15-17 weeks of age so they can learn and socialize before the critical socialization period of development ends around 16-18 weeks of age.
For younger puppies under 3 months old, online support is available prior to enrollment. There are training options for a two-week camp and for three-week camp. There are also special rates for dogs that need to stay for a month or longer.
After dogs have completed camp, they will be eligible to return for boarding training at a reduced rate.
